Humanoid robots: compare models and prices

Humanoid robots are built to work in places designed for people: assembly lines, warehouses, labs and, more and more, homes. Some walk on two legs, like Unitree G1 or Agility Digit. Others, like Galbot G1 or AgiBot A2-W, roll on a wheeled base and keep only the human-like torso and arms. Today they mostly move totes, sort parts and serve as research platforms. Agility Digit already works at Amazon and GXO, and UBTECH Walker S2 is used by carmakers including BYD and Geely.

Start with the status. Plenty of famous humanoids are still in pilots or not for sale at all, such as Figure 02 and Tesla Optimus. After that, compare payload, runtime per charge, the environment the robot is rated for and how open the software is for your own tasks. For research teams, a good SDK and easy repairs often matter more than walking speed.

Our catalog lists 36 models from 23 brands in 7 countries. 22 of them have a published price, ranging from $1,400 to $160,000. The low end is education and hobby models; full-size industrial humanoids are usually quoted per project.

Frequently asked questions

+How much does a humanoid robot cost?

Published prices in our catalog range from $1,400 to $160,000, and only 22 models list a price at all. Small education models sit at the bottom, while full-size humanoids for factories and research cost tens of thousands of dollars and more. For most industrial models the price is confirmed only in a quote.

+Can I buy a humanoid robot today, or only join a pilot?

It depends on the model. Some, like Unitree G1 and AgiBot Lingxi X2, are sold from stock, and many more are built to order. Others are available only through pilots (Figure 03, Boston Dynamics Atlas) or not sold at all (Tesla Optimus, Figure 02). Each card in the catalog shows the current status.

+Bipedal or wheeled humanoid: what is the difference?

Walking robots can step over obstacles and handle uneven ground, but balancing on two legs is harder and costs energy. Wheeled humanoids such as Galbot G1, AgiBot A2-W or HMND 01 Alpha stay steady on flat floors and suit workstations where the robot mostly works with its arms. If your site has stairs or thresholds, a bipedal model makes more sense.

+Which specs should I compare?

Start with payload (what the arms can actually carry), runtime per charge and the environment the robot is rated for. Then look at the software: is there an SDK, can you teach it your own tasks, and who supports it in your region. For shift work, battery swapping helps a lot: UBTECH Walker S2, for example, swaps its own battery.

+Is there a humanoid robot for the home?

Very few so far. 1X NEO is designed as a home humanoid for chores and is available for preorder; Figure 03 also targets homes but is only in pilots. Most other models are made for factories, warehouses, labs and education. Before buying for home use, check what the robot can do on its own today.
