How we collect and check data

This page explains where the robot data on RoboHub comes from and how we handle prices and gaps. It also shows how you can help us fix mistakes.

Where the data comes from

The catalog is built on a verified dataset of robot models. We collected it from open sources in September 2026.

Our sources are manufacturer websites, official spec sheets, press releases, dealer and reseller listings, and robot databases.

Each model keeps links to the sources of its specs and to the manufacturer's official website, so you can check any number yourself.

How we show prices

Prices are shown in US dollars.

We take prices in this order: the manufacturer's official price first, then authorized dealers and resellers, then reputable aggregators.

Each price has a note: where it comes from, the month it was checked, and a link to the source.

If the manufacturer does not publish a price, the site says "price on request". Models that are not for sale have no price at all.

Prices are indicative. Taxes, shipping, configuration and options change the final number. The exact price is confirmed in a commercial quote from the supplier.

For Russia the site may show a separate indicative price in rubles. It is clearly marked as an estimate.

Sales statuses and deployment stage

Each model has a sales status:

On sale: you can buy it now from the manufacturer or dealers.

Made to order: it is sold, but delivered per order or project.

Pre-order: orders are accepted, but deliveries are not yet regular.

Pilots only: available only in pilot projects with selected customers.

Not for sale: internal or demo programs, no public sales.

Separately we show the deployment stage: serial deployment, pilot deployments or prototype.

When data is missing

If we could not confirm a value from a reliable source, we leave it empty. On the site it is shown as "no data".

We never put 0 or a guess in its place. An empty field is more honest than a made-up number.

Photos

We use only freely licensed photos from Wikimedia Commons: CC0, public domain, CC BY and CC BY-SA.

A photo is used only if it shows the exact model. The author and license are shown under each photo and on the /credits page.

If there is no suitable photo, we show a neutral placeholder.

When data was checked

The last full check of the catalog was in September 2026.

We re-check the data periodically. Prices and statuses change faster than specs, so each price note shows the month it was checked.

Found a mistake?

Use the "Report an inaccuracy" button on any robot page, or send us the request form.

Please name the model and add a link to the source. That way we can check and fix it faster.

Independence

Manufacturers do not decide how we show their data.

We may be paid by suppliers for forwarded quote requests. This does not change how specs and prices are shown.

Payback calculator

The payback calculator on robot pages uses your own assumptions: salary, number of staff replaced, shifts and maintenance.

It does not use manufacturer claims. The result is only as good as the numbers you enter.
