World model
An AI model that predicts how the physical world will change after an action.
A world model lets a robot imagine the outcome before acting: if I push this glass, it will slide off the table. It can also generate realistic simulated video and scenes, which gives cheap extra training data when real robot data is scarce.
This is a fast-moving research area, and mostly it appears in product pages as a promise. For now it is more a sign of the direction a company is going than a feature you can test. Treat it as a bonus, and judge the robot on the tasks it already does reliably.
