RaaS (Robots as a Service)

With RaaS you pay a monthly or hourly fee, and the vendor usually handles installation, software updates and repairs. It lowers the entry cost, which matters for a small cafe or a warehouse that is not sure the robot will pay off.

Compare it with the purchase price over two or three years, and read what is included: spare parts, replacement during repairs, minimum contract length and what happens at the end. A short pilot under RaaS is a sensible way to test before buying.
