Agility's Digit passes 100,000 totes at GXO as the company heads to the stock market

Agility Robotics says its Digit humanoid has moved more than 100,000 totes at a GXO facility in Flowery Branch, Georgia, and the company plans to go public by merging with a SPAC, Churchill Capital Corp XI, at a reported valuation of about $2.5 billion. The milestone is a fact reported by the company. The listing is a pending transaction that has not closed.

The 100,000-tote milestone

A brief from OODA Loop dated 24 November 2025 reports that Digit passed 100,000 totes in commercial operation at GXO Logistics' facility in Flowery Branch, Georgia. Digit moves totes on and off autonomous mobile robots, loads items onto conveyors and stacks containers in a live fulfillment workflow. The brief does not give the number of robots, the timeframe or throughput rates.

Note the date: the milestone itself was announced in late 2025, not in 2026. Agility's own press release of 15 September 2026 repeats it and adds figures for Digit 4: nearly three years of continuous commercial deployment, more than 65,000 operating hours and about 98% accuracy while on task. Named customer sites include GXO, Schaeffler, Amazon and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada. All of these are company figures.

The SPAC deal: what is announced

Startup Fortune (24 June 2026) reports that Agility will merge with Churchill Capital Corp XI, with the combined company expected to trade under the ticker AGLT. It cites The Wall Street Journal for a valuation of about $2.5 billion. Gross proceeds are expected to exceed $600 million: $420 million from the SPAC's trust account and more than $200 million from a PIPE led by Foxconn. The article says Agility's revenue is undisclosed.

None of this has closed. The September press release states that the transaction needs shareholder approval and other conditions, gives no closing date, and contains forward-looking statements the company says are not guarantees. Treat the valuation and proceeds as terms of a proposed deal, not completed financing.

Factory and orders: plans and claims

Agility builds Digit at RoboFab, a 70,000-square-foot facility in Salem, Oregon, designed for up to 10,000 robots a year and more than 500 jobs at full capacity. That is design capacity, not current output. The company also says it had more than $300 million in multi-year Digit 5 orders as of May 2026, subject to contractual milestones. For Digit 5 it gives early access in the first half of 2027 and general availability by the end of 2027.

What this means for robot buyers

RoboHub's view: Digit is a rare humanoid with a named, long-running warehouse deployment, which is useful when you evaluate vendor risk. A public listing would bring audited financial reporting, which helps you judge whether the supplier will be around to service the robot. Until the deal closes, though, ask directly about funding runway and support commitments in writing.

For a logistics buyer, 100,000 totes tells you little without the time period and shift pattern, so ask for totes per hour per robot, interventions per shift and the integration work with your conveyors and mobile robots. Agility's sources give no unit price. Also note that Digit 5 is scheduled for 2027, so ask whether you would be buying the current Digit 4 or waiting.
